Reconcile slab thickness zones, shared edges, form cuts, exact concrete yield, selected base and supplied reinforcement schedules in one saved project.
Slab quantities and supplied schedule
Measured concrete slab project
Measured concrete slab project
What this worksheet covers
Connect non-overlapping measured thickness zones to exact concrete yield, outer form cuts, a supplied stake schedule and separate base purchases. Shared zone edges do not become duplicate forms.
Rectangular or L-shaped quantity planning from a selected design only. No slab thickness, reinforcement, foundation, load, joint design or permit approval.
Import a saved measurement
Select a source, then an existing field with the same measurement unit. Add region or station rows first when needed. Confirm physical meaning and datum; importing a number does not approve a design or replace the rest of the required measurements.
Enter the measured layout and selected product information, then calculate. Exact schedules and a drawing appear here.
Supplied reinforcement schedule reconciliation
Supplied reinforcement schedule reconciliation
What this worksheet covers
Transcribe final bar marks from the supplied drawing, reconcile already-included or explicitly entered allowances and allocate distinct size/grade/finish stock without changing any approved piece or splice.
Quantities from a supplied schedule only. No bar-size, grade, spacing, cover, development, bend, hook, lap or splice design. Unknown allowance status holds the affected material order.

Measure zones before buying concrete
Divide a rectangular or L-shaped footprint into adjacent, non-overlapping rectangles when the selected thickness changes. The measured zone volumes add together; a shared internal edge does not become another perimeter form. The form boundary table assigns edge IDs so you can omit an existing edge or enter an expressly permitted joint. Changing the footprint requires reconciling those edge IDs again.
The worked example has a 10 × 8 ft zone at 4 in and a 4 × 4 ft extension at 6 in: 96 ft² and 34⅔ ft³ of concrete before reserve. The shared 4 ft edge produces a 44 ft outer perimeter. Its mix, stake and base values are fictitious calculation inputs, never a recommended construction specification.
Keep the approved reinforcement schedule intact
Use the reinforcement module to record source sheet/detail references, bar marks, final developed lengths, counts and exact material identities. Allowances already in a final length are not added again. An unknown allowance status holds the affected stock order; the optimizer cannot change a supplied splice location or design a lap. Every reconciled cut remains traceable when saved to Planner.
QUIKRETE’s calculator and data-sheet links provide product-specific quantity references. Obtain the actual mix yield and application instructions for your chosen product; this planner does not infer structural thickness or use.
Two independent records share this page: measured slab materials and an already-supplied reinforcement schedule. The slab volume does not generate a reinforcement design.
Thickness zones, forms and base
Up to 20 non-overlapping rectangular zones must form a connected rectangle or L-shaped footprint; touching only at a corner is insufficient. Volume sums width × length × entered thickness for each zone. Bags divide concrete volume by exact labeled yield, apply concrete reserve, then round up. Ready-mix reports reserve-adjusted cubic yards; it does not apply a supplier’s minimum or increment.
Outer form edges are counted unless explicitly omitted. Supplied form joints split edges into unspliced cuts, with stock end trim and kerf. Stakes use the entered count per form piece plus extras, then package rounding. Optional base uses footprint area × selected depth × documented loose-order factor, then its own reserve and exact bag content.
concrete volume = Σ(zone width × zone length × zone thickness)
Supplied bar marks, not inferred bars
The reinforcement tab records drawing reference, mark, count, developed cut length and exact size/grade/finish identity. An allowance already included in the length is not added again. An explicitly supplied excluded allowance is added once. Unknown allowance status withholds the entire affected stock identity’s order. Reconciled cuts remain unspliced and are allocated with selected stock end trims, kerf and reusable-remnant limits; up to 2,000 pieces are supported.
The shared allocator may retain its best valid plan at the bounded search limit, or report a separate conservative fallback. Stock count follows that physical plan; it is not an optimality guarantee. Slab forms and reinforcement stock have no automatic percentage reserve. Bar identities remain separate.
Evidence and excluded design
Keep the exact concrete yield, form/base products, drawing edition and bar-mark references with the result. The tool does not choose slab thickness, strength, reinforcement spacing, cover, hooks, laps, bends, joints or bearing preparation. It transcribes those supplied dimensions and schedules.
