MaterialNest has no account system and does not upload saved project measurements, names, notes, prices, or imported files. Saved projects are stored in this browser's IndexedDB on your device. Our hosting provider may process ordinary technical request data, such as IP address and browser information, to deliver and secure the website.
Local preferences
Small interface preferences such as unit or currency selection may be stored locally in your browser.
Temporary measurements and project deletion
The optional fence run-length handoff uses this tab's session storage, rather than a URL. It is removed when the selected calculator reads it; unread values expire after 30 minutes and are discarded on the next read. Pending Planner calculation and worksheet edits also use session storage until the destination tool reads them. Closing the tab normally ends this storage session; browser session restoration may retain it.
Project Planner's “Delete all saved project data” removes saved projects and quarantined recovery records from this browser, and clears pending project-edit handoffs in the current tab. It does not remove downloaded backups, measurements already open in other tabs, optional fence-run handoffs, interface preferences or offline website files. Close other MaterialNest tabs before deleting to avoid retaining their pending edits. Use your browser's site-data controls to clear remaining website storage, and delete downloaded backups separately.
Offline storage and updates
Your browser may store MaterialNest website files and small update records so supported tools can work offline. This storage is separate from saved Planner projects and is not used by MaterialNest's application code for advertising, profiling, or cross-site tracking.
Website updates may replace or remove cached files without deleting saved Planner projects. Clearing MaterialNest site data in your browser removes both offline storage and saved projects.
Analytics
MaterialNest's application code does not send calculator inputs or saved project content to analytics. Projects remain stored in your browser unless you export them.
Cloudflare hosts the website and processes technical request information, such as IP address, requested URL and browser information, to deliver and secure it. Cloudflare may also process browser-generated network-error reports and aggregate usage or performance information, depending on its hosting configuration and your browser. This provider processing is separate from MaterialNest's application analytics and local project storage; deleting Planner projects does not delete Cloudflare's records.

If you choose to email feedback@materialnest.com, the message leaves MaterialNest and is processed by your email provider and ours. MaterialNest does not automatically attach measurements, prices, project names, notes, saved projects, or calculator results. Please do not include sensitive personal or project information in your message.
